SO busy!

So, I now have the chance to update my blog, so I am.
Tomorrow will be my 4th day at my Raley's job.
Wooo...
And school on top of that.
So, I just haven't had much time for anything fun.
Which really sucks, because I'm not used to that.
So, I apologize to my blog fans about the lack of posts.

This is all I have time to write for no
w, but I have the day off from school tomorrow, so hopefully I can make up for the lack of posts.

JOB!

I got a JOB at Raley's!
That's right people, Courtney is no longer unemployed.
I'll be making less than at my last job, but whatever. Money is money!

My work hours will consist of me bagging people's groceries, helping people out to their cars and getting carts from the parking lot.
WOOOO!

I get to go to training tomorrow from 4-7.
And then again on S
aturday at 9, I think.
And it's 7 hours long on Saturday.
:D
super excited.

anyhoodle, that's all for now!!
Until next time, DO WORK!

La la la!

Today was a late start at school.
Kendra and I went to Alicia's house for a pot luck breakfast, which was so fun.
I made the bacon. :D

Anyhoodle,
Kendra, me, Eva and Alicia rode to school together, and it was really fun.
Why was it really fun, you ask?
We blasted Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, rolled down the windows, and sang the song the whole way to school.
It is times like those that make you realize that High School really is the best four years.
It put me in a good mood the whole day.
For once, stupid people didn't bug me.
It was great.

That's all for today.
Until next time, CAR DANCE!

PS: My name thing isn't uploading right now. :(

Gimme yo' blood!

That's right, blog fans, I was a hero and gave blood today at school.
A pint of blood, to be exact.
Which is a really big step for me, since I am greatly afraid of needles.
Really, I was freaking out before school even started. I don't know why I have a mondo fear of needles, but I do.

So, I went in to the interview first. Which consisted of my finger being pricked to check and see if my iron was high enough. And then the asking of questions to make sure I don't use needles for drugs and the whole AIDs thing.
My favorite question went something like this:
"Have you had sex with a prostitute
that uses injection drugs?"
I lied and said no.
hahahaha. Just kidding.

Then I went into the main room, which was our school cafeteria. My dude was super nice and told me I could cuss as much as I wanted, since I told him I was afraid of needles.
I took him up on that offer.
The needle going in hurt pretty bad, I'm not going to lie. And it continued stinging during the
blood being drawn.
Then right before i was done giving my blood, I got really hot, even though it was rather cold in the room. And then I felt like I was going to throw up.
They gave me a bio hazard bag just in case.

Now we flash forward to be being able to get up.
Kendra and I went to the bathroom because I had to pee super bad.
After I did my business, it took me five minutes to get up off the toilet. I thought I was gonna pass out.
I walked out of the stall and Kendra was sitting on the ground. Some people came in, had me leave to go sit and then gave her
some ice packs and a chair.
She ended up passing out on the bathroom floor.
That's my best friend for you!!

My last class of the day consisted of me staring at my paper the whole period. I couldn't function.
Good thing my teacher in t
hat class likes me.

As of now, I'm trying not to move too much. I thought I'd be better by now, because I donated at 11.45. But I guess I was wrong.

Over all, I'm super glad I donated. I could save THREE peoples lives with that one pint of blood. That's what they told me at least.

Until next time, DONATE BLOOD!

AH!

I have been taking care of this five week old puppy since Friday.
It is going to be the death of me.

Lets see...
She has to eat about every four hours.
She enjoys destroying my hand with her needle sharp teeth.
She won't stay on the pee pad when she has to pee, most of the time.
She whines when she isn't tired and I put her in her kennel.
And wors
t of all....
She is so damn cute.
I just can't stay mad at the little jerk.

Tucker keeps being real territorial and barks a lot whenever she is around him.
Dakota never wants anything to do with anything smaller than him, as usual. But at least he doesn't bark.

I am so so tired, and I need to fin
ish my Government project still.
Darn you, procrastination!

'Til next time...I'm running out of things to say for this.

ZombieLand!

Such an amazing movie.
I can't even begin to describe how amazing it is.
I, surprisingly, have no complaints.
SOOOO GOOD!
Go see it, ASAP!
If you don't I WILL hunt you down and destroy you.
And save you to feed to the zombies.

ANYHOODLE,
Not much to write about right now.
House episode was good.
NCIS was also good.
Uhmm....Taco bell is good.
So is Jack in the Box.

Right...well, I have a government project to finish, so I'll post more tomorrow.

Until next time, .....skdfjsakdfjaskfj.

Doctor visit #3

Okay, it has been a while since I posted a blog.
For that, I apologize.
But in my own defense, sen10r year is crazy and I am super busy with school and friends and clubs.
Okay...so one club.
But you know how it goes.

ANYHOODLE,
Went back to th
e doctor today.
Waited nine minutes to get into the room.
Waited an hour for the doctor to come in.
You know what the doctor tells me?
That the MRI was clear. And to take three Advil about twice a day. Everyday.
But to watch out, because it can damage my liver.
The end.
They aren't gonna
try anything else.
"Give us a call in about six weeks and tell us how it is going."
How about you suck it in about six weeks, dill hole?

So, as doctors fail yet AGAIN, my mom and I decided to try a Chiropractor.
Which scares the crap out of me.
But if it works, then it works.
I am NOT going to take all that advil.
I hate taking advil anyway.

So, a recap:
Doctors suck major gonads.
Advil kills your liver.
I'm scared of Chiropractors.
And I really need to update my blog more.

Until next time....
Blah blah, words that are meant to be funny.

My sister.

I've been doing some thinking lately, and I really miss my sister.
Of course I have missed her since she left, but I just miss her even more now.
So, this blog is pretty much dedicated to you, Cassie.
Feel special.

Cassie is pretty much the best big sister in the world.
She toughened me up when I needed it and she's the one who gave me my awesome sense of humor.
She pretty much made me who I am today, as cheesy as that sounds.
Aww, aren't we so sweet.
My mom, Cassie and I.

I know that I can turn to Cassie for anything. I bet she'd help me hide a hypothetical body, if I asked her to.
Aw, look at that sisterly love.
These pictures I am finding are soo old. But it's the best I have. Besides some recent ones when she was in the states and we went to Memphis to see them, ya'll.Like this picture. We look very similar in this picture.
I wish I had some old ones on here, like when we were a lot younger.
We used to look nothing alike.
And then as I got older, I started to look like her.

I even sound exactly like her, when I want to.
It's pretty cool.

In essence, I just want to say how much I appreciate my older sister, who I always looked up to and still do.

I miss you Cassie!!!

And I love you!

Roller Derby!!!

Last night I helped out at a Roller Derby. I had no idea that they still did those, but it was so cool! I was right on the edge of the ring, past the caution tape.
My job was to write down the outside fouls that the ref told me as he flew by.
I wrote the team, the number, and the foul made.
Then I got the attention of the people in the middle so that they could write it down for records and on the foul board.
It was sooo cool!
I flinched a couple of times, because I was right next to the girls, so it looked like one was coming right at me a few times.
I only got ran into once when a girl was slid
ing in to sit down. And I didn't fall over or anything. So it was all good.

If you haven't seen a roller derby, you should really look it up on youtube. It is super awesome, and not a sport for prissy girls.
I'm not really a prissy girl, but I still wouldn't do it.
Mostly because I'm not really coordinated enough to skate. I'd have a hard time staying on my feet.

Okay, so I really want to get more followers for my blog. If you're reading this and you enjoy it, then you should be telling your friends to read it. Your friends friends, their uncles and aunts, their grandmas and grandpas and neighborhood hobos.
Just tell anyone you can that you think would enjoy my writing! And tell them to click 'Follow this blog'!
DOOOO IT!
Lets see how many followers I can get by 2010.

Until next time, make friends with a penguin.

Doctor vistit #2

Yesterday was my MRI. It was an hour long and they took scans of two sections of my back.
You know how hard it is for me to lay still for a full hour?
I don't even lay still when I'm asleep.
And the noise....oh, the noise.
It sounded like a bad 80s video game, taken over by Satan and his band of merry demons.
And I even had or
ange ear plugs in.
Really, just imagine a demonic version of the Frogger soundtrack, blasting all around you.

The MRI guy was nice though. After it was done, he let me see all the scans.
They were crazy looking! Way cooler and freakier than the xray.
You could see everything from my spinal cord to the fluid to the muscles.
Probably one of the coolest
things I have ever seen.

Anyway, we will hopefully see what is causing my pain during visit #3, which is on Wednesday, I think.
It isn't on the calender, but I'm pretty sure that's when it is.

Now, tonight I am helping out at a Roller Derby.
I'll write about it tomorrow, of course.

And I skipped another Story time! Saturday.
But...that's the way it goes when I finally have something to write about.

Until next time, refrain from tickling a hobos feet!

GASP

I just realized that my blog is in desperate need of an update!
School has kept me busy, I just keep forgetting!

We are ordering my cap and gown soon, and an extra tassel for my car mirror.
I am already getting nervous to join the 'real' world.
As opposed to the apparently fake world I've been living in for 12 years.
MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A LIE!!!
....

Not really. But you get my point.
Maybe not.
But I got my point.
So HA!

I'm actually just spacing a lot and junk so that it looks like I posted a lot.
I AM doing something exciting on Saturday though, so instead of Story time! Saturday this week,
it will be a regular blog post.

Stay tuned for more!
And until next time, keep in touch with your dust bunnies!

Sunday, September 20, 2009

Yawn.

I am way too tired from yesterday to be up early[I was up at 7!].
But I am indeed up, so I decided to post a blog about my busy day yesterday.

After a night of hanging out with Kendra, her boyfriend Anthony, Kandace and Felicia, Felicia and I spent the night at Kendra's so we could help Kendra's grandma move out of her house bright and early in the morning.
My morning consisted of moving boxes and other assorted things from 8ish until 11.30ish. W
ooo.

Then I went home, showered, and went to Clayton's 4th birthday party to hang out with the family and eat some much deserved food.
After that, I went to Sparky's for a little bit to chill out with Kandace, her mom, her sister and her mom's friend.
Then Kandace and I went and got a Slurpee and hung out at her house until 8ish.

At that point, I was very tired and went home, only to realize that I had not posted my Story time! Saturday
blog, since I had not really been home.
So, I scrambled through Word documents to find an old story from Sophomore year.
It is a pretty funny story though, so it's all good.

I think today will probably be my lounge around day...I hope.
Knowing my luck, someone will want to hang out.

Until next time, maintain your squash!

Story time! Saturday

I knew this would happen to me. I know it’s hard to believe, but I just knew a life threatening experience would cause me to confess things to someone. Things that I would not normally say to this person, due to the fact that the person would probably be angered. And you know what else I knew? That the life threatening experience would end up to be nothing at all. Now my life IS being threatened, thanks to that dang turbulence. Let me explain.

It was a relatively normal day. Kendra had flown to Texas to visit her mom, and I had gone with her. Now we were on our way back, and I was doing my routine freak out before we boarded the plane.

“Courtney, clam down,” said Kendra, rolling her eyes, “It’s just a plane ride. It’s not like something could go wrong because people didn’t check the plane’s landing gear. I mean, what are the chances of the plane catching fire when we take off or land?”

“That isn’t what I was worried about, but thanks for adding that in to my list of plane fears. I’m just worried about the plane spiraling down to the hard ground when we are in mid flight.”

“Pssh, like that could happen.” Kendra said as we took our seats.

It was about an hour later when it happened. The plane encountered really bad turbulence.

“AHHH!” I yelled. “I knew this would happen!”

Kendra showed no support or care, because she was fast asleep.

“That little jerk…” I muttered, before I started to panic again.

Those yellow breathing masks came down and that is when I snapped.

“Sweet mother of 3rd graders that tried to kill their teacher! KENDRA, WAKE UP!”

“Huh? Don’t let the flying Korean carrots get me!” she yelled as she woke up. “What’s going on?”

“We are going to crash and die! No, even worse, burn and die and have to tap dance for scary old man for the rest of eternity!”

“Courtney, stop overreacting. It’s just a little turbulence.”

“No it’s not, you lie! Listen, I need to tell you something. I figure that since we are going to die anyway, I should get it off my chest.” I took a deep breath and looked at her, “I used your clarinet to unclog my toilet!”

She stared at me, “I don’t play clarinet…I don’t even own one.”

“Oh…Right...” I looked down, “What I meant to say was that I was the one who used the parachute to tap dance on your dog while we were free falling during the summer of ’69!”

“WHAT?! You lying little bag of birdie poop!”

The rest of the plane ride ended up being smooth. Once we landed, Kendra shoved me into her laptop bag. I currently have no idea where I am going, but I am defiantly running low on air.

THE END

So, sorry I posted this so late, but I've had a super busy day and I have hardly been home. So, I will post about today tomorrow, since Story time was today.

That was actually a story I wrote my Sophomore year for English[we would have to write one every week and I'd write it the night before it was due.]. Kendra and I would always write funny stories to make the class laugh, since we were the funniest ones in there!

So, I hope you enjoyed this last minute story post of mine. I just copied and pasted it from Word. Which is why everything is all double spaced and messed up now.

Until next time, don't use your mouse to comb your hair!

So...

I'm going to try to make my own blog layout. I don't know how long it will take or what it will do to my blog, so you'll probably just have to deal with a crazy blog for a while, since I'll have to do it between school and other stuff.

Anyhoodle,
I am super excited. The House season premier is Monday and the NCIS season premier is on Tuesday.
Two of my most favorite shows ever.
And for those lame-os who have never heard of/seen NCIS, it is NOT a version of CSI. Unless you
are dyslectic.

Okay...so....That is all I have for you today.
Hopefully something cool happens so I can write about it.

Until next time, don't assist a panda with homicide!

Wednesday, September 16, 2009

Blahh.

I really have nothing of interest to write about today, but I really felt like posting something.
I could write about my day...but my day was really boring.
I could write about my weekend...but it wasn't that great either.
I could write about my plans for this weekend...but I have none.
And since I'm writing a list of things I could write about but shouldn't...This blog can be a list of Top Ten...something. I'll think of something in a minute.

...

..........
...
..........
...
..........
...

I got it! Here is my:

TOP TEN REASONS WHY I HATE CLOWNS!

10. Crazy red hair- it's just icky.
9. All that makeup is enough to fun 20 prostitutes.
8. Big red nose
s are for Rudolf.
7. Being sprayed in the face with water is NOT enjoyable.
6. They talk funny.
5. No one is that happy. NO ONE.
4. Clowns eat souls.
3. Clowns kill children to fuel their unnatural happiness.
2. They are just plane creepy.
1. Clowns are really zombie makers, who will be the cause of the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

Pachow.

Late starts are so awesome. I love that we get one every month. It's like a period. Except enjoyable and it doesn't last a week. Most of you probably could have gone without that comparison, but oh well.

Hey look! It's a picture of me in a gradua
tion gown! This is the picture that will be my yearbook picture:

That's as big as I could get it without blurring it. >=(
Awww, aren't I sooo cute!? Of course I am.
If you answered no...I will find where you live. And I will destroy you.

ANYHOODLE,

that's pretty much all I got for today. Until next time, go talk to your friendly neighborhood hobo!

Doctor vistit #1

So, a serious blog today.

I went in to an orthopedic doctor today to see what is up with my scoliosis.
They check out my reflexes, took some xrays and measured my curvature with the xrays.
I got to see said xrays. They were...shocking. My spine looked horrible. Like I was some sort of alien. Both me and my dad said, "ew!" when we saw it.
The doctor laughed. Apparently, it isn't even that bad.
My curvature is between 35 and 37 degrees
. Which is nothing, apparently.
But boy, it sure doesn't look like nothing.
At 40* is when they start looking at surgical treatments, so surgery is out as of now.

But my main concern was my constant back pain. Really, not even exaggerating when I say it hurts constantly. There is never a break in the pain anymore.

Here's the kicker: apparently, scoliosis doesn't cause pain.

SO, next Friday, I go in for an MRI so they can try and figure out what is causing my pain. Then a few days later, I go back in for the results of the MRI.
And then after that, I go back in after four months, so make sure my spine hasn't curved any more.

I pretty much hate doctors. No answers yet. Not even some ibuprofen for the pain. GAHHHHH.

Now my blogs will return to their usual attempt at humor until next Friday, when I will write another report on the MRI experience.

Until next time, don't smell your dog's armpits!

Headacheeee!

Headaches suck. Espeically when you've had the same one two days in a row.
But I did manage to make my own header for this blog today. What do you think?
Well, I don't really care what you think either way. It's my blog. :P

Anyhoodle, to the important stuff.
As some of you know, I've got the scoliosis. If you don't know what that is, look it up. It'll be a learning experience for you.
I'm going into a special doctor to see how bad the curve is and junk.
Hopefully the doctor isn't a creepy old man, si
nce he'll have to be touching my bare back. And I hate people touching me in the first place. So that will just be ten times worse.
I will post a full report on here after I'm home from the appointment.
I get to leave school at lunch for it. Woo!

I have really really ridiculously big fear of hospitals. I have no idea why, but they scare the beejeezus out of me.
If anyone knows the technical term for a phobia of hospitals, let me know.

So...that's pretty much it for today.
Until next time, sing to your fruit so it doesn't eat you first!

Story time! Saturday

So, my wonderful sister Cassie puts a 'She Said What?! Saturday' on her blog.
So, after much deliberation, I will be posting a Story time! Saturday.
Every Saturday, I will write a random short
story. It will be humorous and will not have any educational or moral values.
Enjoy!

Once upon a time, in a far away land called 'Wisconsin', there lived a man. But this man was no ordinary man, oh no. This man was part duck. He had the body of a man, but t
he head of a duck. His name was Herbert. Herbert the Duck Man.
Even though Herbert had the head of a duck, he was still a happy man-d
uck.
He tried making new friends every day, but alas, no one wants to be friends with a man-duck.
Everywhere he went, children screamed at him and parents shunned him.
One day, Herbert was finally so sad, that he cried all day and night. It was a horrible sound. Really, man-ducks shouldn't cry. Have you ever heard a duck cry? I don't recommend it.
Anyhoodle, Herbert just kept c
rying until a flock of ducks surrounded him.
"Hey Herbert." one duck said.
"You know my name?!" he replied, still sniffing from his crying fit.
"Sure. I'm your brother. Lets GOOOOOO!!!!"
The duck flock flew up and they all grabbed Herbert, carrying him away into the sunset.

THE END.

So, there you have it. The very first Story time! Saturday.
Hope you enjoyed it!
And until next time, don't pat your arms in Arkansas!

Friday, September 11, 2009

Like, totally.

You know what, like, i like, totally hate?
WHEN PEOPLE SAY 'LIKE' TWENTY TIMES IN ONE SENTENCE.
I swear, just from these girls walking behind me and telling a story, I lost twenty IQ points.
It makes me want to punch someone in the face.
My fist on their face and their face on the floor.
I stole that from a song. But it feels nicely here, don't you think?

I do. And it's my blog, so that's all that matters.

TRIF.
That stands for, "Thank Reba, It's Friday."
Kendra and I are using Reba in place of God and Jesus.
Who knows how long it will last. We'll see.

Anyhoodle, it's been a tough second week of school. Mainly because I just want high school to be over. There are too many unintelligent people in that school.
Thank Reba for cool teache
rs.

And school prevents me from updating my blog daily, since I forget easily during school. I'm lucky I can still
spell my own name.
C-O-R-T-N-E-Y.
Not really. My name is cool and has a 'u' in it.
I hate it when other Courtney's spell their names oddly.
Such as, "Courtny" or "Cortney" or "Courtnie" or "Cortny"
WTF.
I just decided that I really really like my name. Which is saying something, since it got pulled out of a hat.

Okay, now I'm just rambling to make up for my lack of updates.
I gotta go now, I'm hanging out with Kandace and Kenzie.
See, I DO have m
ore than one friend.

Until next time, don't let your foot pet strangers!

What!? A seal?! Sharks eat seals!!!

Okay, since I've been busy and haven't had time to write, I have a lot to catch my readers up on.

Thursday I went to the Aces game with Kendra and her parents and her Uncle Ron Ron. It was SO much fun. Which is weird, because generally, Aces games are the opposite of fun. But really, we had so much fun I can't even really write all of it down.
But here is one of the funniest things that was said all night,
"EPIC FAIL,
BUBBLE BUTT!!"

Then I got to not go to school on Friday because I went to Pismo Beach with Kendra and her parents for the three day weekend. The first night, Kendra and I stayed with her Nana. Or, our Nana I should say. She said that she officially made me one of her own. Nana is one of the coolest people ever. And she has a really comfy bed.
Then we all spent the next day with her. We went down to the beach and spent most the day there. I swam in the o
cean for the first time and boogie boarded. Which is SO freakin' fun. But while we were in the water, a seal got through the saftey net. Which freaked me out of course, since sharks eat seals. And we looked like seals on the boogie boards.
Sea weed kept wrapping around my ankles and since we were going to eat sushi that night, I said, "I'm gonna eat
you tonight, sea weed! TELL YOUR FRIENDS!"
Then after dinner we went and I met Kendra's Grandpa and his wife Lisa and their three adopted kids.
All of them are so nice!
And Grandpa can make some GOOD ribs!!!! 'Nuff said.
Such a fun weekend, and I can't even fit all of the fun in this because I'm getting tired of typing.

And I have homework. I've been super busy with
school. Stupid education facility.

SO, until next time, remember to vacuum your porcupine's feet!!

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

Who wears short shorts?

Not Courtney. Sorry I don't like showing off my buns, society.
Really, we're in school. I don't need to show off my ta-tas and butt to attract a guy. And the guys I attract aren't just talking to me for my lady junk.

Just had to get that out of my system. There are some serious short-short-shorts all up in my school.
"Ohhh, but they are so CUTE."
Yeah...my longer shorts may not be super duper cute, but at least i have self respect. And I think they are cute. S
o....BLAH!(I'm keeping this blog PG)

ANYHOODLE,
Other than a few stupid people pissing me off, school is going well.
I do miss having all day to just lounge around and stuff. But finally high school is almost over forever.
And then I get to go to college. More school. Woo.
I can tell that Government is gonna be one of my favorite classes.

That's all I got for today...
Until next time, remember to brush your ferret daily!

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

Second day of school.

Okay, so today was the second day of school...as the title states.
The only new classes I had today were Intro to Culinary 1 and Algebra 3.
BUT...I've already taken the Culinary class, so I went to my councilor during 3* and switched to being a Peer Tutor for Mr. Stone in his Mythology class. HECK YES!
And Algebra 3 is math. Math is the DE
VIL. Like fooseball and Ben Franklin.
"I invented electricity. Ben Franklin is the DEVIL!"

Hem Hem......
......
....Any
hoodle....

I have a lot coming up this week. Aces game on Thursday. Which would normally be REALLY lame, but I'm going with Kendra and her parents(shocker), and we get to sit in the nice comfortable bo
x seats right above home plate.
And then I'm going with them to Cali for the three day weekend! To the ocean.
Ooooh, sea
creatures!

Wait...Hippos do not live in the sea... There is public education at it's finest people!
.......
Nah, I'm only kidding.
.....
.
..kinda...

Well, this blog is filled with nonsense and many ellipsis...
GASP! There they are again! And with that, i shall end my rambling blog for tonight.

First day of School. Again.

Okay, so, today was indeed the first day of my senior year. Or rather, sen10r as many of my fellow seniors like to put it, since we are graduating in 2010. Clever, isn't it?
Anyhoodle, I shall list the classes I had today, in order, and tell my blog readers about them. Enrichment is the first class we go to on the first day, but normally it will be in between first and second block.

*Enrichment- Had Hoadley last year for AP English. This enrichment class is going to be the school newspaper. Small enrichment. We'll see how it goes.
1* Environmental Science- Lameish class,
but Mrs. Morehouse is SO cool. She has bright pink hair. And we all know how I love funky colors in my hair. She seems really laid back.
2* Government- Awesome class, and it will be a challenge. I've had the teacher, Mr. Coombs, for World History my Sophmore year. He is a great teacher; one of my favorites.
4* Family/personal psychology- Gonna be SUCH a cool class. Mrs. Green is awesome. 'Nuff said.
5* Critics of Society- Also going to b
e an awesome class. I had Mr. Stone last year for mythology/poetry. He is also one of my favorite teachers.

So yes. Tomorrow I will have to go to my counciler so I can change my 3* to being a peer tutor for Mr. Stone's 3* myth/poetry class, because I don't want to take Foods again. And I will have Algebra 3. Soo....pretty good first day. I'm feeling good about my la
st highschool year.

Teenagers just REALLY need to learn how to drive correctly, because most are straight up STUPID.
Until tomorrow,

Yet another movie review...sorta...again...

Watched Halloween 2 yesterday.
It was....eh.
Definitely not as good as the first one. Rob Zombie was just spoon feeding the audience. There was no, "what's gonna happen next!?" factor.
Sure, it had its jumpy parts, and I was scared during it. But after it was over, I was over it.

Very very gory, so not for a pe
rson with a weak stomach.
The gore was pretty much the only real good part about the movie for me. Since gore is cool. Hahaha.
It just wasn't an amazing piece of cinematic production.
If a third one comes out, I wi
ll be very disappointed.

A few good parts. Mostly bad. I dunno, I'd say go see it for yourself. Just don't get your hopes up too high if you are a major Halloween fan.

Off the topic of movies, School starts Monday. Which means I will have so much more to write about!! But I don't think I will post another blog this weekend since it is almost Monday.
Until then, remember to floss!!

Ahhhhh!!!

Blast! I haven't posted in a while. I think I am trying to cling onto the last days of summer as they are leaving quickly. Sure, I'm going to be starting senior year, but school is still school. And my school kinda...sucks. Oh well.
I'm going to go see Halloween 2 today, so another movie review should be expected today or tomorrow.
Oh jeez. I just realized that after I see the movie, I'm going to babysit tonight. "Hello paranoia, my name is Co
urtney. We've met before."

Anyhoodle...
Other than that, nothing has really been go
ing on in the life of Courtney. Just enjoying the last days of summer, like I said.
So...since nothing I wrote can really ent
ertain you...lets look at a picture of an angry cat!

His computer crashed....
So, enjoy your day!!!

Yet another movie review...sorta...

Okay, so I saw Inglorious Basterds a few days ago, but I haven't really gotten around to getting on blogger. Busy being out and about and enjoying the last days of freedome before school.

ANYHOODLE,
Inglorious Basterds. AMAZING movie. So awesome. Might be a little gory, but I like gory. Even if you are not a fan of gory movies, you should still see it. The filming, the script...Everything. "The Bear Jew". hahaha.
Jus
t...amazing.
This movie has made me a fan of Quentin Tarantino. I knew his movies were cool, but this is just sealed the deal for me.
Even though I am not the biggest fan of Brad Pitt, he does an awesome job playing his character.

Inglorious Basterds: Officially one of my favorite movies. I think I'll go to the theater to see it a few more times before it comes out on DVD. And then I must own said DVD.

GO
SEE IT!

Senior Sunrise.

It's been a few days since I've posted anything. But I really just had nothing to write about.
But yesterday(or this morning, rather) was senior sunrise.
All the seniors go really late at night or in the wee hours of the morning, paint a parking spot if they want one, and then we watch the sunrise.
Freakin' pointless.
And I am SO tired.
I've been awake since 8.30 am yesterday. Did not sleep until Kendra and I got to her house around 6.40ish this mo
rning. We decided to stay there instead of my house. I got four hours of sleep.
"Why? Just four? Why wouldn't you sleep in more?" is the question you are probably asking me.
Here is the answer:
My mother freaks out. Because, you know, I'm still 12 years old. So I get woken up by my phone, which worked its way to right under my ear.
Ah, the mechanical voice of, "Voice message received" in the morning. Nothing better.
Except maybe the 10+ voice m
ails from my mother, and two from my dad.
Best thing to wake up to. EVER. Really, try it some time.

Anyhoodle, that's really all I got in me for the day. But I'm going to go see Inglorious Bastards today, so expect ano
ther movie review tonight or tomorrow.

Ps: Ignore any spelling/grammar mistakes in this post. I really don't care about my lack of writing ability when I am running on FOUR hours of sleep.

Another movie review...sorta...

Just got back from seeing "District 9" with my mommy.
I was slightly opposed to seeing this movie, having thought it looked dumb, but I still went for my mom. :P
ANYHOODLE, it was a rather enjoyable movie. There were some parts at the beginning when we questioned if we should just leave or not. But then we got sucked into the movie. You become attached to characters you think you won't.
You also realize that human beings are messed up. We are not very nice to things we don't understand, even if this movie was just fiction.
I also loved the way that the film was shot. If you've seen "Cloverfield", the shooting was similar, but WAY better
. It had the sense of an amateur type person, such as a news filmer, but it was still professional. The "Cloverfield" filming was horrid, but the "District 9" filming was AMAZING!

This movie is kinda hard to explain at all. You really should go see it though! Worth
it: yes!

Senior pictures.

So, got my senior pictures taken yesterday, which is professionally taken in a studio, of course. I really, really hate taking pictures in the first place, so I was already ticked off. But then, after taking pictures in the fake gown top for the year book, they took me into this room for "casual" poses and pictures. I didn't know that sitting in a fake stone castle window counted as "casual". And on Thursday, I have to go down to the river for even MORE pictures, because it's included in the senior pictures package. Woohoo....not.
I just can't smile on command. I have to think of something funny and make myself laugh, or else my smile is obviously fake, which makes me look like I'm in pain or something. It's ridiculous.
But, I must say, I looked really good in the graduation gown. Even if it was just a Velcro-on top. And it was blue. Unfortunately, when I graduate, the girls have to wear this REALLY ugly shade of gold. The guys get to wear the okay color of blue.

When the picture people post the pictures of me on their site for me, I'll post the good ones on this blog.
And...that's pretty much it for now. I'm sure that once school starts up, I'll have so much mor
e to write about.

-Insert clever title here-

So, yesterday I went to Pyramid Lake with Kendra and her family. We rode the jetski and went tubing. Flying off a tube being dragged by a jetski going at least 35-40...it hurts pretty bad. But SO worth the fun.

And today I got my class schedule for my last year of high school. Crazy stuff. It's a pretty easy and nice schedule though. I have two of my favorite teachers, so that is always a plus.
Registration started at 7 this morning, which is when Kendra and I went. We just rolled out of bed, brushed our teeth and ho
pped into my trusty car. I have no idea why most people there got ready and junk at 7 am JUST to go to registration. Pointless. But that's high school for ya.

Speaking of getting ready, I also have my senior pictures today. I really really hate taking pictures. Especially school pictures, because there is only one school picture in existence that I actually look good in. And this is senior year, so I HAVE to look good. The pressure is ON.

Anyway, that's all I really have to right about today...lame sauce!

Movie Review...sorta...

Went and saw The Time Traveler's Wife last night with Kendra and her parents. I, having not read the book, still wasn't too excited to see it. Kendra and her folks had read the book, and they were skeptical that the movie would be any good.

As it usually goes, I loved the movie. It made me laugh, worry, have anger and even...dare I say it...cry. Kendra cried as well, but she thought they didn't do a good job, and crammed too much. But her parents pointed out a good point; they had to cram. Her parents enjoyed it and thought they had to do it they way they did and at least they did
a good job of it.

Hm...I am now tired of the word 'they'. Oh well.

So, there you have it. The opinion of someone who didn't read it and people who did. Whether you've read the book or not, I recommend seeing the movie. Awesome acting and filming.

Ps: You know how there is always a person in the theater with an annoying, loud laugh? Try having that person as your best friend. Hahahaha.

Holy peanutdoodles.

I'm starting senior year in a few short weeks. I thought that this fact had already hit me at the beginning of the summer, like a big semi truck. Well today, that semi truck put itself into reverse and slammed into me all over again. If anyone can help collect my stray body parts, I will be very grateful.
It really seems like just yesterday I was a terrified freshman, walking into my first registration.

Nothing really happened today other than the semi truck thing. I cleaned the bathrooms and took a shower. So...nothing too exciting to talk about.
So let's look at a picture of a hobo!

So, there is your lovely hobo picture. It is really all I have to offer in this blog today. Hopefully I go do something tomorrow, so I have more to write and complain about. Courtney OUT.

Burgers for Bryan.

Went to Archie's, a bar and grill place, today for lunch to eat food. The procedes being made today are going twords Bryan's medical bills. Bryan is my best friend Kendra's uncle. He is 31, and his lung cancer came back.(he had it when he was a little boy) He has three kids, all under the age of ten and a lovely wife. So many people have been showing up all day, so it's really...i guess heart-warming would be the correct word here.

Also had an orthodontist appointment t
oday. Saw Jilian and Feather, the two assistants that Kendra and I are friends with. Yes, I'm friends with people at my orthodontist office. hahaa. You can always find friends in the oddest places, even if you are anti-social like I am.

Over all, good day. No complaints. Except people really should learn to drive better. Ugh.

Let's try this.

Okay. So, after seeing that my sister was trying out the blogging world, I thought I would hop on the metaphorical train as well. The only difference is: hers has meaning and a purpose, but mine will just be my humorous rambling and complaints about just about everything.

So, let's just see if I remember to get on this thing tomorrow.
